Break it open with three TDs

RECAP: Simply the best quarter in Bucs playoff history. The same team that scored 21 points during the second quarter Sunday had, in 10 previous playoff games, managed 21 in a game only once. First, the Bucs went 77 yards on 11 plays capped by a Joe Jurevicius touchdown and 14-3 lead. San Francisco, aided by two personal fouls, countered with a field goal. But the 49ers returned the favor, with Jurevicius drawing a 36-yard pass interference call that set up a Rickey Dudley touchdown. Later, Jeff Garcia was picked off by Derrick Brooks, setting up a Mike Alstott score and 28-6 halftime lead.

KEY PLAY: Jurevicius' touchdown, a 20-yard tap-the-toes number just inbounds on the left side on third and 7, was the first of many key plays. He set up the next score by drawing a pass interference on a long throw into double coverage.

KEY PLAYER: Brad Johnson, playing for the first time in four weeks, threw two touchdowns, going 8-for-15 for 94 yards. By keeping the offense on the field for 12:20, he kept the 49ers offense off it. UNSUNG HERO: Cornerback Ronde Barber got a hand on a pass to Tai Streets, allowing Brooks to intercept the pass and set up the Bucs' third touchdown.
