Duke must go two overtimes to beat Miami

CORAL GABLES - Monique Currie scored 15 of her 43 during the second overtime to help No.1 Duke hold off Miami 99-93 on Sunday.
The Hurricanes (15-11, 5-8 ACC) trailed 73-70 when Tamara James retrieved Katie Hayek's missed 3-pointer and was fouled as she attempted a 3-pointer with 3.6 seconds left. She made all three free throws to force overtime.
Albrey Grimsley's short jumper for Miami with 31 seconds left in the first overtime tied it at 78. A turnover with 11 seconds left gave the Hurricanes a chance to win, but Chante Black blocked Renee Taylor's shot with a second left.
Currie's 3-pointer with 3:30 left put the Blue Devils (24-1, 12-1) up 83-80. She also went 10-for-10 on free throws during the final 1:33.
NO. 2 LSU 64, ARKANSAS 42: Seimone Augustus scored 26 for the host Tigers (13-11, 5-6 SEC). The Razorbacks (13-11, 5-6) led 7-2 before LSU scored the next 17, 11 by Augustus.
NO. 4 MARYLAND 65, N.C. STATE 57: Laura Harper scored 20 for the visiting Terps (23-4, 10-2 ACC). Billie McDowell's 3-pointer got the Wolfpack (16-10, 6-7) to within 33-30 early in the second half. But Marissa Coleman's two 3-pointers sparked a 15-4 Maryland run.
NO. 5 TENNESSEE 82, ALABAMA 65: Shanna Zolman made seven 3-pointer and scored a career-high 28 in the visiting Vols' 30th consecutive win over the Tide (9-16, 3-9 SEC). Candace Parker's three-point play with 11 seconds left capped a 9-2 run that gave Tennessee (24-3, 10-2) a 37-28 halftime lead.
NO. 7 RUTGERS 60, SYRACUSE 43: The host Knights (21-3, 13-0) won their 21st consecutive Big East game. Rutgers led by 15 with 6:36 left in the first half. The Orange (9-15, 2-11) trailed by double digits the rest of the way.
NO. 8 UCONN 79, NOTRE DAME 64: Ann Strother scored 11 of her 19 during a decisive second-half run for the visiting Huskies (24-3, 12-1 Big East). Down nine in the first half, the Irish (14-10, 5-8) cut it to 52-48. But UConn sealed it with Strother's two free throws and three 3-pointers.
INDIANA 63, NO.10 PURDUE 61 (OT): Cyndi Valentin made a tying 3-pointer with five seconds left in regulation and two free throws with three seconds left in overtime for the visiting Hoosiers (15-10, 9-5 Big Ten). Katie Gearlds' layup with four seconds left tied it for the Boilermakers (21-4, 12-2). But Valentin was fouled on the ensuing inbounds play.
NO. 12 BAYLOR 73, TEXAS TECH 60: Sophia Young had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the host Bears. The Red Raiders (12-12, 7-6 Big 12) tied it at 52 on LaToya Davis' layup midway through the second. But Baylor (19-5, 9-4) responded with a 12-4 run.
NO. 13 GEORGIA 83, NO. 22 VANDY 61: Sherill Baker scored 22 for the visiting Bulldogs (18-7, 8-4 SEC). Up 43-28, they opened the second half with a 7-0 run and led the Commodores (17-9, 6-6) by at least 16 from there.
WISCONSIN 67, NO. 17 MINNESOTA 61: The host Badgers handed the Gophers (17-8, 9-5 Big Ten) their fourth consecutive loss. Danielle Ward scored with 55.2 seconds left to put Wisconsin (11-16, 5-10) up 63-61.
NO. 23 TEMPLE 70, DAYTON 36: Wharton High's Candice Dupree had 24 points and eight rebounds for the visiting Owls. The Flyers (16-9, 8-6 Atlantic 10) made six of their first eight 3-pointers. But Temple (20-6, 11-3) used a 20-3 run to take a 43-25 halftime lead.

FSU 80, CLEMSON 72 (OT): Ganiyat Adeduntan scored 10 of her 23 in overtime for the visiting Seminoles. Clemson (8-18, 2-10 ACC) tied it on Amanda Frist's three-point play in the final seconds. But Adeduntan opened overtime with a jumper then made consecutive 3-pointers to put FSU (17-8, 8-4) up 73-65.
AUBURN 73, FLORIDA 58: DeWanna Bonner had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the host Tigers. Down 36-25 at halftime, Florida (19-7, 7-6 SEC) cut it to 45-39 on Sha Brooks' layup with 12:47 left. But Nitasha Brown responded with a 3-pointer and the Tigers (13-12, 4-8) led by as many as 16.
